Privacy by Design
Invite friends and family to join you in virtual gallery tours, enhancing your art exploration together.
Visit together in private
Enter alone or create a private room for invited guests. Each visitor experiences the same exhibition while the artwork and video files remain local to the participating headsets.

A shared gallery, without giving up privacy
Private visits combine Meta Avatars, spatial voice, a shared laser pointer and synchronized exhibition and video state. Missing exhibition content is transferred only after the receiver accepts.
Password-protected rooms
Create a private room with a name and password. The password is used to derive the room identifier and is not published directly.
Meta Avatars and spatial voice
Meet invited visitors as their Meta Avatars and speak through room-scoped spatial voice. Voice is encrypted in transit, but relayed by the server rather than end-to-end encrypted.
Shared laser pointer
Use a shared laser pointer to discuss details in an artwork. It remains separate from each visitor's movement, teleport and menu controls.
Synchronized exhibitions and video
Visitors with the same gallery archive share exhibition state and nearby video play, pause and timeline, while each headset decodes its own local media copy.
Consent-based archive transfer
If a visitor is missing the gallery, the sender can offer the archive. The receiver must explicitly accept before temporary transfer begins, and the archive is verified before installation.
Prepare and transfer your gallery from Windows
The gallery itself lives in Meta Quest. A Windows companion tool helps you prepare the exhibition and transfer it to the headset.

A practical companion tool
Use the PC tool to organise images and videos, add titles and display sizes, choose open or protected access, validate the exhibition and build a portable Gallerum archive.
Add images and video
Import JPG, PNG and MP4 files from your computer. The companion tool also normalises phone-image orientation when the exhibition is built.
Organise the exhibition
Arrange artworks into collections and control their order, titles, display sizes and video orientation before building the exhibition.
Choose open or protected
Create an open archive for public material, or a protected archive that encrypts the manifest, titles, filenames, images and videos with a separate exhibition passphrase.
Build and validate
Validate slots, duplicates, metadata and source files, then build a portable .qgallery archive. The tool reports problems before replacing a known-good archive.
Transfer to Meta Quest
Pair the Windows tool with Meta Quest on the same local network. Compare the session fingerprint, transfer securely, resume an interrupted transfer and let Quest verify the archive before installation.
